It is really more of an aqua-y blue, but the color got washed out in the picture. I started another one with different colors and has a very different look!

That would be so cute with a jean jacket! Love the color and the design. Show us a pic of the one in different colors when you can. Would love to see it.

So cute! I love the colors but the fall looking colors are so pretty. Probably because I am really looking forward to fall right this minute. Very nice. I am trying to learn Granny squares.

This pattern was very similar to a granny square. Grannys were my first project! I got the pattern for the flowers on the Lion website. They are super easy...and addictive!

I changed mine a smidge, used a size G hook and only one strand of yarn. It makes a smaller flower, I like it better though. I love the fall one too. I can't wait until it is cool enough to wear!

Love the fall colors too! I also like the staggered arrangement. Could they be put together that way? I'm not a crochet-er (how do you spell that!) LOL!
I'd learn just to make that though!

To funny Elizabeth! I KNOW you can do it if you set your mind to it. It is just an unknown process to me at this point. I know how to use two sticks but haven't learned to use just one!

I just started crocheting about a month ago, and I find it is much easier on my wrists than knitting (I keep having pain in them that I am ignoring, probably carpal tunnel, I just don;t want to deal with tthat at the moment. Ugh.) I went for one hands on lesson and have pretty much been able to figure everything out on my own. Ah the wonders of the internet!

When I am able that is exactly what I'm going to do. I love the videos. I have used a hook to make edging on knitted things. My problem is that I read the directions and don't know what they mean! Videos will help with that. Sounds like another project for this winter!

Connie~I really like the Lion website. I feel like it had the best instructions. Some YouTube clips they work so fast you couldn;t even get what they are doing.

Liz, those are awesome! I'm going to look it up. I'd like to do one like your fall one but I will crochet some green leaves to put in also.

Those do look like fun, love the fall colors. Maybe I will try something like that this fall. I have a couple of fleece scarves that I wear all winter, may make some of those and dress them up a bit.
I love the Lion site too, wish I know how to do all that stuff.

Okey, dokey. . .I tried making some and mine came out with 6 "points" and 7 points, not the pretty 10 that you have.

Well, I'm also the one that when my mom tried to teach me how to crochet made a 5 pointed star out of a 6 point star pattern. (And don't ask me how I did it!)

I'll keep trying. Yours are just too cute and the colors are fabulous!
