                      | Hi everyone! I'm a new farmgirl! I love sewing. I have vision of a vegetable garden, but my busy 2 1/2 year old keeps me too busy as of yet. I'm 25 and am very happy to have found MJF and this awesome forum!!

                      | Welcome Jacquie,
I know you will enjoy it here. I lived in Inglewood for a short time, just a couple of blocks from the big donut. I lived in San Pedro and Redondo Beach most of my school years. It's fun going home to visit sometimes but things really do move to fast for me out there now.

                      | Thanks everyone! I already love it here. Being a farm girl at heart in Los Angeles is not easy, and this place is a great way to know I am not alone :)

                      | Jacquie- you would probably be amazed at home many crave a more rural life in the heart of a city! But cities also off some unique opportunities. Do you have a house or an apartment? When I had apartments I used to grow tomatoes and strawberries in containters and even grew them inside! :)

                      | Welcome from Arkansas. When my kids were that age I made an area of the garden with short rows to teach them to plant. Big seeds like beans and corn. It was a crooked mess but they had fun and learned how our food gets on the table |
