| Hello everyone, I'm so excited I found Farmgirl Connection. I'm looking forward to learning and getting to know all of you. I am a Texan and a new mother. I have taken the time to read through some of the "General Chat" and have enjoyed reading your posts. I am wondering if there are any young women on here, in their 20's? Its hard to find young women my age who are interested in Clotheslines and Flower Beds. |

LOL No offense taken! These ladies would win you over even if you were not open minded! :) It is understandable that you would be looking for a group of peers! So you will get some mentors along with that. It is all sooooo good!

Good for you Kristi being interested in farmgirlish things at such a young age. You will have so many years to learn so much. I have a daughter in her twenties and she thinks I'm crazy for getting rid of my electric clothes dryer and using the clothesline exclusively. Welcome.

Hi Kristi! I am a closer to 30 than 20, but am still in my 20's for a very short while! I feel the same way you do sometimes, but you will find here age is so insigificant! Everybody is just great!

Hi :) I'm new too! I'm 25 and have a 2.5 year old. I know what you mean about finding women our age who are excited about gardens and sewing and what not, but we exist!!

Yay! So nice you meet you, I am loving this message board. So much good information. I've always been a Granny's girl, she tought me to sew and well...Everything! My husband and I are about to move into our first house and I will finally be able to have a flower bed and a clothesline and this is the most exciting thing ever to me. Haha.
