I was wondering about the match-ups, too. My pillowcases are done, now I just need to know who I am swapping with?

Since partners haven't been matched up yet, I think I am going to drop out of this. I do not want to feel rushed making something, and I haven't started yet because it seems that every time I get started before I have a partner, someone needs a specific color or some such. Sorry but in a few weeks there's going to be a lot going on around here and this week was really my time to do this.

Catherine, Maybe we can get Alee to partner us up. I am really not picky about colors and just look forward to what is coming in the mail. I have already made my pillowcases in fall colors. Think about it.
God bless,
Judy

I'm still working on mine, but I intend to have them done before the November due date!! So I'm still in, if others are too.
Someone said something about matching colors...I'm just winging it with mine...not thinking I needed to coordinate with someone's bedding and I wouldn't expect anyone to feel like they needed to coordinate with my sheets...they aren't very coordinated anyway!!

I am ready also with a couple of fall pillowcases. Mine have pumpkins, acorns, and lots of fall blessings! Hope someone will like them in their fall home. I am othewise decorated and just waiting for the real thing when the leaves turn and the hills become colors of auburn, yellow, gold, burnished red.... Get the idea. 58 degrees this morning in Atlanta. Get those sewing machines out.
Living in the city. Blueridge Mountains in the not too far distance. It will do for now. |

I gather that partners have not been assigned to this swap yet. I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks and lost track of things!

So far, no partners have been posted. The list is also not updated - several people have dropped out.

I think the final, final deadline isn't until November 1, so we aren't in a crunch yet. Hope things are going okay with Alee. Family is number 1!!

I agree with you Paula. It sounds like some people are jumping the gun. The deadline to sign up was just the first of the month and we don't have to mail out until the first of November, which was to give us a couple of months to work on the project.
It did sound like Alee was having some personal stuff going on and we need give her some room to deal with whatever it is. This is not a crucial matter at this point in time. If anything I think we need to be praying for whatever it is that's going on in her life and supporting her, not adding to the stress she must already be under.
Lets us all send out virtual hugs to Alee!
