Kathy,
The template will be from an 8 1/2" by 11" piece of cardstock (for stability). The book will measure a little over 4" long and 2 1/2" wide when folded into the book form. It is a small little thing. Hope this helps.

Michelle I reread the directions and know the size of the paper. I just got don collageing the whole sheet of paper keeping in mind the way it will be folded. When it is dry I'll be able to start the questions and embellishments. Yea!

Michell do you glue it together when it is done? I'm having a hard time folding my practice sheet so only 4 pages are seen and your front and back pieces are in the right spot hmmmmmmm.......

I'd love to do this but I am already signed up for the Fall matchboxes, and and the cupcakes ATC cards and I don't want to overextend. Of course, my little grand-daughter is here to help me and I am vacation for 9 days starting next week...so my question is when do I have to commit to this swap? Thanks, Joey

Hey Michelle I did mine last night it was so much fun. I was thinking is there any way we can have everyone encoreperate their picture so as we look through them we have an idea who we are reading about. What do you think. I'm also working on how to make a cover that I can bind all the 20 books I will receive into one book. I'm off to go fold my printed copies. Sooooooo fun!

Hi Kathy,
Are they not addicting? I am working on #3. Funny you should mention about the picture, as I was thinking Ashley and I would place ours somewhere inside the book. If you ladies would like to include a picture, that would be great! If not, no problem. I would rather not make it a requirement. :-) I am going to place a brad on the top left of each book we receive and then hang them from a large metal ring (like a key ring) and a vintage bow. Then I can hang them by my craft area.

Good morning again,
So here is what the color copy of your template will look like. I used a color copier here at work, but the quality is not that good. Can't wait to see it printed from a professional copier. I used pop-up dots on one of the pages and just love how it turned out. (the sunflower page)
And here is another one.
I used graphics from handouts I have picked up at Ulta, old Susan Branch calendars I have saved, etc. I have not put our questions on yet.
I know we just started, but was wondering how yours is coming along? Any questions, please ask.

ut oh.... I think I did mine wrong!! I already made the book and decorated each page... hmmm ... any suggestions on how to take it apart and lay it flat ...ugh.... oh well. But maybe I should do it over again anyways.... are we suppose to do each page with the things that "tell" about us?
