Hi y'all from the bluegrass state of Kentucky! I'm Cindy, been married forever, have 2 grown and married daughters, and still waiting to be blessed with grandchildren. I've been a Mary Jane Farm gal for about a year now. I decide it was high time to step forward and join the kinship here.

I enjoy the great outdoors and as much nature as one can possibly stand. Fortunately, we have a small lake by our backyard so our property is always filled with a variety of critters to watch and enjoy on a daily basis.

My favorite thing to do is garden and I must say I'm a little disappointed that my veggie plants are a bit puny this year...but my blackberry bushes are making up for it. Had yummy blackberry crisp with homemade ice cream last night.

I am now a stay at home gal and happy to be so while running my Etsy shop. Always led a simple lifestyle and now have the time to pursue what my country heart desires.

Hope to learn a lot here and just maybe contribute something worthwhile.

Pickin' The Simple Life,

Cindy~Farmgirl Sister #1685

Hmmm...I thought about planting blueberries, but I need to plant strawberries first. Blueberries sure sound good though!

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome from the state just below you! It's good to have another southern sister on board. The weather this year has been hard on the gardens. Jury is still out on mine! Glad you are here.

ChickieMama...I'd love to share with you, but it didn't take long for the dessert to disappear.

herblady55...yes, the bloomin' bunnies are a hoot and keep me company in the garden.

Bear5...I'm already lovin' it here. Lots of friendly ladies.

Thanks again all!
