I made some last year and daughter finally ate some the other day. I so remember making this with my gram on the farm years (and years) ago. Was so happy she enjoyed it and plan to have her help make it this fall! (now that she transferred to a local college and moved home!) :)
I make it too! I had never tried it until I got married. My husband had it growing up so I decided to give it a try. It's tasty on a toasted english muffin with a cup of tea :)

Ooh, I remember having this once long ago at a German restaurant in Baltimore that, alas, doesn't exist anymore. I would love to have a recipe (or a source to buy from -- hint hint).
