Don't you just love peaches?? They are so pretty and they smell so intoxicating. Right now at the grocery stores in Oklahoma, you walk in and the aroma hits you right away. Yummy.
We've had really big peaches on our tree but we have now been introduced to the Oriental Fruit Moth. Oh my. Just shoot me. The little worms burrowed holes all through the fruit. Pheromone traps next year!!
Anyway, if you want to see how I can my peaches for pie filling, I put pictures up at the blog. I'm still canning and have two more batches to go.

I have seen the weirdest thing on apple trees this year, apples, inside a lining made out of womens panty hose. When I asked the homeowner, after seeing this for the last few years, he does it so the apples do not get damaged by insects, would this work for peaches? |
