I posted in Garden Gate also. I can't find my Seedless Wild Black Raspberry Jelly recipe. Do any of you have one?

I just looked up Wild Black Raspberries, they are what I call black caps, so, I was looking at the Certo Liquid Pectin insert to use for mine.

I found one on-line. I just have to pick about a quart more, before I can make it. Thanks.

I've made 2 batches this weekend, one with the pectin for a low sugar batch and one regular batch. It is sweet and flavorful! The berries are exceptional this year with all of the rain we've had here. Hoping to pick some more today - if they are producing, I'm putting them up! I put the berries through my Kitchenaid juicer attachment and the screen allowed some of the seed through. I guess you could call what I made Jamelly - Dad figured out the name yesterday.

Cute name.

I don't have fancy kitchen utensils. I simply strain berries in a berry bag over a pot. Last year I used cheese cloth to strain them.

I didn't either, and used a muslin bag that I sewed together as a jelly bag for a long while. That is until Ma sold me her Kitchenaid for $50.00. I call that a good deal. (She didn't like how heavy it is, I love what I can get done with it.) Jelly bags are a wonderful thing! I make peach jelly using a jelly bag because my guy does not like JAM it must be JELLY.
