I am joining granny squares with the over cast stitch, but how to do end it? I tried googling it, and cannot find a YouTube to watch this. Anyone? Can you help?

My book states to simply over cast stitch and weave in the end. Then Add the edging. Is this exactly how I do it?

Elizabeth, I saw your granny square on your blog - Beautiful!

Here is my finished hand towel. Next time, I may try crocheting them together.

That is too funny Kristina! I made one just like that with red and white and blue last week! Great minds sure do think alike! How did you edge yours? I adore the colors you used.

Just edited to add a pic of mine too...

That is wayyyyy too funny! I did 3 rows of sc around the edge. My husband said it's too pretty to use, so it is hanging in one bathroom.

I can't remember the hook size I used. I think I used a G aluminum hook. It could be the hook size.

Now if you tell me you started a Halloween colored one I will be disturbed and think you are inside my head...LOL!

Actually, we should start a crochet-along. That would be fun! Have any projects you are thinking of starting next?

Nope. LOL! I'm buried inside my craft/bedroom closet, decluttering today. I've started another hand towel, but it's different, with different ply yarn.
