I am going to be an elf in the Memorial Day Parade with Santa and Mrs. Clause. We are walking for the Arthritis Foundation promoting their Jingle Bell Run and Auction. It will be all of my children and grandchildren. We even have a little jingle to sing and we decorated our wagon red and green streamers. And the sun is shining. Yeah. It should be a great day. Bless all the soldiers and their families.

Is it too late for a pen pal. I would love to have one. I think writing letters is fun although most of my dear friends think I am bit old fashioned.

| Lynette, got your lovely letter today. Got back from our three week road trip last Tues. and have been going 90 miles an hour ever since - in the horrible heat and smoke from local fires. Will be getting a letter off to you soon. |
