I don't think #194 is active either. It looks like she only had one post on the forum. I've tried emailing her and haven't heard anything back. Hopefully everything's fine with her, and she just got too busy.

I'd love to have a couple of penpals! I wrote to a few that posted their addresses in Grit magazine, but the only reply I got back was from someone I thought was a lonely, retired older gentleman, and he was really a single man in his 40's lookin' for a LAYdee. :)

Kristen, thanks for the info on your experience with Grit. I saw that one too and was going to write plus to some others. Thankgoodness I didn't. Guess you have to wonder about some of those people who post in magazines like that.
I too am up for some new pen pals. Have gotten some in the past that I've only gotten one letter from and then nothing. Guess they just got too busy or something. So sign me up for another pal or two. Just love writing letters to other farmgirls. |

I'd love a pen pal! I've got such lovely stationary I've received as gifts over the years, but so few people appreciate the art of correspondence any more, I've had hardly a chance to use it . . .
I am a 20-something single girl with a dog, finishing my masters in library science. I can, cook, bake, knit, sew, quilt and paper craft. I also love to read, watch hockey, hike and camp. I was born in Texas, but call Colorado home and have lived here (in various places) for a sum total of almost 20 years now!
I'd be game for any interested pen pals, someone my age, older, similar interests or not. :)
