My hubs and I love swinging on our front porch swing in the afternoons. Our DD on one of our laps, watching the sunset...I'd take a picture, but my camera is currently off being fixed. Show me pictures of your porch swing!

I haven't been good at figuring out how to get photos uploaded. I'll just send you a link. http://field-days.com/nanas-glider

Because we get such high winds on the high plains of New Mexico, porch swings don't work so well. But my wonderful old glider is perfect! Yes... my husband and I love to relax on the front porch at the end of hectic days... or begin our days with a good cup of coffee out on that glider whenever we can. It's the most peaceful place at my barn!

Hooray for porches and porch swings!

We don't have a porch swing. But on our deck we have really comfy chairs and hubby and I enjoy our new country life. we just sit and watch the animals wander the yard and our kids playing and the dog running around. I LOVE it. Can't imagine summertime in any other way.......

We have two porch swings. One in the yard and one on the porch. I love them both because they remind me of the porch swing on the farm. I know I am lucky to have them. Hope y'all can get one too. Bonnie

We actually have an under the deck swing which looks out onto the garden. But my favorite seat is my adirondack chair right next to the mint in the garden!

love a covered porch with swing, but don't have either! Have two open porches and someday will have a nice covered one... next house! Hubby doesnt get the whole covered porch bit but then he didnt grow up in an area with a ton of great summer storms to sit and watch them!

OOOOH! I love the bucket of apples, Sandy. :) And the adirondack chair by the mint must be so relaxing! Betsy, look at that beautiful porch! I love the different pillows and the red furniture-it really makes the white of the swing stand out. I've got some ugly greenish pillows on my swing-you're inspiring me to change it up! :)

Great photos and descriptions - no porch swing for me. Some day.. My grandmother had one and it was my favorite thing. My uncle has her home now that she has passed - the home has been updated quite a bit - but the same porch swing is there. I'm so pleased...

Betsy - your porch is lovely...

I love it! I miss my old porch swing and finally moved my hammock to my porch last night. :)

I love my swing and hammock ... but I don't have a porch for them so they are in between a tree and the garden shed and on the other side of said garden shed .

Hope the picture uploaded. This is me knitting with my SIL on our screened porch swing. The curtains are closed cause it is cold outside!
