I not an expert with sewing, so my instructions are probably not the best, but the first bag looks pretty good.

cool idea! My dogs food bags are paper though, lol, so wouldn't work... but thinking of other goods this could be done with as well!!

It is definitely not perfect, but now that I have made one, I can experiment on the cat food bags too. The kids love them. I am sure they won't hold up for real heavy items, but they are functional and useful.

Very nice! Thanks for the tutorial! One of the ladies at the Farmers Market has been making and selling bags made from her chicken feed bags. I guess this is catching on!

I've seen them at the Farmer's market too. Some of the ladies have added trim around the top. I'm going to try some with my chicken feed bags. Has anyone tried crocheting or knitting them. Seems they might make great rugs. Happy sewing!
