Does anyone have experience with Thuricide? I'm going to be using it on my garden soon-I was told it's organic (It's a bacteria) and I'm hoping to stave off cabbage loopers. I've never had an organic pesticide work well before. I do have to re-apply this every week, or after every rain or heavy dew, as well, so, I'm hoping that I can keep up with it!

It's the Bt, right? I think I also have that. Bt is supposed to work very well on any soft bodied caterpillar. I did try it once, but now I just rip up my cabbage when the loopers get to be too much. By then, it's usually time to harvest anyway. I do not remember if it worked or not, but I know a lot of organic farmers really like it.

Yeah, well, they killed my cabbage AND broccoli last year-didn't even get heads on them they were out so quickly. I'm not losing them this year!

And last year I soaked those heads FOREVER, and I still ended up with those little green buggers every once in awhile in the broccoli when I went to defrost it from the freezer.

if it were me i would add some DE to the mix. its cheaper and would help. i know here is some in your product but more would help.there are some other things in the product to help kill the little guys too. i do need to be diligent on keeping it on the plant. watering and rain does ruin it. it does seem to work for me. i hope it works for you. well its raining today AGAIN. warm and wet from calif. coming north. i am just getting my garden in today and rest os week. happy days sherrye
