Lorraine, I am in the Hudson Valley and just down the road! That is wonderful! I was looking awhile ago and am so glad that you are getting one together.

I hope you are into crafting??? do you have any kids? I am hoping we can plan difrent activites, and "tea partys" and anything else we can think of... do you have any animals? since you are in clinton corners, I would say it is a good chance you do.

Hi Lorraine
I am so excited to be a Hudson Valley Hen! I am into all kinds of crafting, putting up my vegetables and fruit, no children, no stock, however, 2 dogs. Someday I'll have chickens, not quite there yet! How about you?

I have 3boys, 24ish chickens, 20ish ducks, 2 goats and a dog named daisy she is a boxer... what kind of dogs do you have?
chickens are wonderful and so easy if you decide to hve them & need help let me know.

Hey there, we have a Golder Retriever and a German Shepherd Dog. Both rescues and both great buddies.

I just love Amy she is wonderful! there are days that I just wish I had one of their lemon squares.... the food there is just too good!
what day is good for you? are you avaiable durring the day?

LOrraine, It was lovely to meet you ladies yesterday and I am looking forward to the next time we get together. Wild Hive was a great choice as their food is fabulous, local and organic as well! Thanks for a lovely time. I will send a follow up email with available dates in July.

so sorry, I did not for get about you! i have been so busy. last i saw you, i told you about my dilemma about my sewing machine... well I was having such trouble getting the darn thing fixed. I was on a hunt for a new one I settled on a brother electronic. I just got it last night, I am so relived I was getting seperation anzity with out being able to sew.... sewing is my "happy place" especially when I have no shoes on. that is truely my favorit! I did speak to MaryEllen and she agreed that the second friday would work out great as well. the first week is usually filled with bills to pay any way, the second week should be just fun for all us!I don't thing i will beable to do the dish cloth swap this month I need to catch up on my other farm girl projects. but I will most likely do the next one. MaryEllen and I were discussing the size and trying to figure out how big they will need to be. so is it a dish cloth or a dish towle? either way what is the size?

I don't know what I would do if my sewing machine were on the fritz...I am so happy for you to have gotten a new one! As far as the dishcloths go, here is a site with some ideas for you and Mary Ellen. I think I remember that you both crochet. http://www.allfreecrochet.com/Dishcloths
