After yesterday and a very overwhelming day (month 6 of pregnancy) I decided to sleep in today. Hubby was already outside working. I made my way to the kitchen and saw that he had made waffles. He does this often, but I can't usually eat them as he uses wheat and I can't do gluten. Well on the counter next to the waffles were my gluten free flour mix and the buckwheat. He made them so I could eat them! I was crying the whole way out to the shed to thank him. He's learning how to cook more for me. It's been a challenge, but he sure made my day with that.

That is awesome, Laurie! What a sweet husband you have! And being 6 months pregnant is very wonderful and very hard too! Take good care of yourself and give him an extra hug tonight for going that extra mile for you! Isn't it so nice when they do that?

Aw, what a guy! That was so sweet of him. Mine would just die right in the kitchen near all the food. He knows nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I guess it's my fault. But some guys can cook and some can't. Both my daughters married guys that can cook and they love to cook. And it's pretty good too. I hope you got to go back to bed after you ate.

How special!! When they step it up, it might be a challenge, but it makes it mean all the more. Sweet he made your waffles, and I would have cried all the way to the shed too!

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.
