What have I done!!! I'm making a quilted Christmas tree skirt for a wedding gift and I am short 1- 7 1/4 inch piece. The fabric is called through the woods by kris lammers & maywood studio. It's a black background with snowmen on it. I'm hoping someone may have a piece that I can purchase it and finish this project. What was I thinking!!
Thanks for the help!!

I don't have any fabric to offer, but I have to say I'm amazed that you offer such incredibly thoughtful and kind gifts to loved ones and I'm stunned at everyone's response to help. What a great place to be--here at Mary Jane's Farm. Good luck finding the fabric--I own not one stitch of fabric that fits that description.

If there is fabric to be found the "sisters" here will help...I've called the local quilt shops and contacted quilting friends that are close by and to no avail...I'll keep trying.
I love making things for gifts...to feels good to give a little of myself.

Well, it was great visiting my fabric but the only black background with snowmen fabric I have is from Henry Alexander. So sorry... Wondering if this might work but I wish you luck.

Lori- If you have a picture of the fabric saved to your computer, loading the image is super easy- In the quick reply box at the bottom of the screen, look in the upper left hand corner. You will see an icon that has a picutre of a grey mountain with a yellow sky and a grey arrow pointing up. That is the forum indicator for upload image. If you click on that, a new bow will open where you can select the picture you want and then upload it to the forum. It does take a minute or two and it won't look like anything is happening. Just wait until the box closes on it's own and there should be a funny looking string of text added to your message that looks something like this: [ img]imagename.jpg[ /img]

I hope that helps!!

Is this the fabric you are looking for?

I will check my stash to see if I have a piece large enough for you. . . although I believe all that I have left are small scraps for my scrap quilts. Will also check with my local quilt shop to see if she still has some in stock.

Just let me know I have the right print!

I'll keep you posted. . .

I looked around at the stores in in town and also on the internet. I found it many place on the internet but in other background colors - not black. It is great looking fabric and I hope you find it. Would love to see a picture of your completed project when you find it.

Lori - I made a purse last year out of that fabric. I'll see if I have a big enough piece to send you. I got it from a quilt store in the UP.
