I was told yesterday that I should try Vodka on my toilet hard water stains. Haven't tried it yet but has anyone else used Vodka for cleaning?

Lol, I bet you'd find out what's lurking under your couch that-a-way, too....(since you'd likely be facedown on the floor after a few swigs, lol!)

When I worked retail we used rubbing alcohol to dust the glass shelves. It worked really well and didn't streak. I'm sure vodka would have worked too but alcohol is cheaper.

I'm actually intrigued about using it on hard water stains. I might have to try it!

Okay, so I got some (for free...odd story, but anyway), and it works FABULOUSLY for mirrors, glass, metal fixtures, anything shiny! Dries in seconds. I will not be going back to my staple of vinegar/water for these chores! I'm telling you, it really does work. It is not a grease cutter, but after you wipe down your stovetop with your degreasing agent of choice and then wipe it down with vodka, it shines like there's no tomorrow!

This was sooo funny. I had to lol, and my DH and kids all asked "what?" Vodka is fabulous for glass, but viniger and water is much cheaper. The hard water stains in the toilet is absolutely worth a shot!
The laughs this mornin was worth even more. Thanks. My DH doesn't like to clean, so maybe I'll give him the twigs, and he can tell me what's under the couch!!

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

Hard water.... hard liquor.... it's all relative!
