I have owned this broom for a year and it is the most functional broom ever...the very best. I look forward to sweeping. Anyhow, I just bought one for my mom (MaryJane) for her birthday and realized I ought to share them with you all as well.

I looked them up and low and behold, my favorite broom is also doing good things besides just sweeping! They are all made in Thailand with 100% renewable resources and non-toxic dyes. Their rugs and dust pans are made with 95% recycled plastics.

It's a pretty neat little family owned business and they are taking good care of the environment and their employees. Their pictures on their website are beautiful.

Happy sweeping!

Those are just SO nice, Meg! If I had known about them sooner, I probably would've asked for one for Mother's Day! Then again, my husband would've probably come back with something like, "We just can't afford to buy you a new vehicle, even if we ARE saving on gas!" LOL! I can just hear him now... Ohhh well... That's my guy! ;)

What this company is doing is really great - I love it! I've been looking for a good natural broom for quite a while (not to drive - just to clean!), now I know where to go to get one! Thank you for sharing! :)

Hugs - Nini

I've seen these at the local plant Nursery. They are so nice and very well made. I'm saving up to splurge on one.

I think my friend got the blue one as a house warming gift. I remember thinking that it looked too pretty to use! They are so cool though.

Meg,
Thanks for posting. My beautiful corn broom has seen brighter days. I got it on a family vacation to the Amish area of Pennsylvania, in Lancaster. We drove off the beaten path, and wherever the Amish farms had signs with wares for sale, we'd stop. I bought my broom over six years ago, and it is finally showing signs of wear. I will order one from this website now.

My broom came today -- wow, that was fast! Well, I love it so much that I hung it upon the kitchen as if it were decor. It really does a wonderful job of sweeping. Even gets the fine gritty bits I usually have to vacuum. Thanks for the "plug," Meg :)

Mara, so glad to hear you got one! Doesn't it just sweep like a wonder? My husband chuckles at me and how happy my broom makes me. Happy sweeping!

To be honest, sweeping is my favorite chore! But how much better it would be with a cute, old-fashioned, earth friendly broom! Thanks for sharing, Meg. I'll put this on my "wishlist" :-)
