Way back when - ok, around 9 years ago - Minolta came out with their first high powered small digital camera called the Dimage Z1. My daughter had to have a digital camera for her journalism classes so we bought her one. Ouch. We ordered one before they even hit the market and paid $400 for this little thing. She loved it so much that I decided I needed one and looked around for me. Of course, as technology goes, they had dropped to $140 within months. I got one and I have absolutely loved this little thing ever since. I even went on ebay recently and found a nearly new one so that I could keep one in the car for those unexpected moments. I paid $25! :-)

So yesterday evening, I went out to the garden and took some shots just to have fun. I love taking pictures and posted the results at the blog. They aren't professional by any stretch of the imagination, but are my other form of journaling!

Wow, you've got quite a lot of activity going on there! Strawberries, blueberries and grapes all seem to be doing great. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Love your blog.

Your camera takes wonderful photos! I recently received a GE 14 megapixel camera from my dad as a gift-very fun & easy to use,tho I still use my "old" Canon Powershot for photos of things to sell. I've been taking pics of flowers with the GE.I should post some! (I think we have the same stainless steel bowl set,BTW!)

Thanks, ladies. Sherrie, I would like to have a Nikon like a friend of mine has but good grief, they are soooo expensive. I think the last time I looked they were like $1200. I think you'd have to be a professional to justify that!! Funny about the bowls! I've had those things since the 70's when we had our sheep farm. I remember paying $20 for the entire set of 5 and wondering if I'd spent way too much! :-) Oh wait, just looked at them again and that's the set I got at Walmart. oops. The aluminum bowl in the front was my grandmother's! I have another set of stainless bowls that are larger.

Wow to the other MB. None of that stuff is even hardly blooming here yet. June is Strawberry Month but with all the cold and wet weather farmers are even planting much stuff yet. It even made the TV news. We need sunshine and warmth here.

I have had Canon camers for quite awhile but just got a Nikon L120 and it does amazing things. A great zoom too . 249 dollars. Saved my pennies. MB

You pics are wonderful though. MB
