Hiya!
I'm Cassie and am from Ky. I'm kinda new, received my stuff earlier in April, but I tend to stay slammed with life. I'm a full time Mother, Wife, RN, and Girl Scout leader. I'm expecting my second child soon and don't know if I'm coming or going anymore. I love the idea of the Farmgirl Sisterhood! We are working on setting up our own small farm, but it takes time and money. We got ourselves out of the city and onto a five acre place were I can see my neighbors from a distance, but can easily walk up and say hi. Eventually, we will get a fence up and a chicken tractor built. I gave up on a garden this year, being due soon, with much to do around here to prepare. I'm probably going to lurk about since I don't find myself with much time to peruse chatrooms. However, I'm excited about seeing what creativity flows from you all and hopefully, finding inspiration and ideas. I'm a fabric and fiber nut, so I sew and knit often. Also a foodie, so I'm always in the kitchen, even though my family doesn't always like what I come up with. I basically want to try to make it myself before I buy it elsewhere, just to see if I can. Leads to many hobbies! Anyway, I'm babbling now so Hello! to you all! Cassie Brown |

Hey Cassie from Ga/Ohio, Yes when is your baby due? Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl? I liked it when you stated that you were slammed with life. I too can feel this way...And that hit the nail on the head. That will be my new saying. "Slammed with Life and loving it" Have a great weekend. debra e

Welcome Cassie!
Oh my, you sound like one busy woman. Always try to fit a little "me time" in if you can, to help rejuvinate yourself for all of life's demands!

Welcome, Cassie, from another Bluegrass farmgirl! Not sure where Lawrenceburg, is, but I'm in the Northern part of the state, just below Cincinnati and the Ohio river.
Great place, this. I've been on the forum for more years than I can count!

Cassie! Welcome!
I'm going to repeat Debra and ask when is your 2nd little bundle of joy due?!?! So exciting! I'd love to hear more! Boy? Girl? Names? Nursery decor? What do you have now a boy or girl? Is he/she excited about being a big brother/sister? What a beautiful and wonderful time in your life! Enjoy!
