Oh Merle, I am so glad that you liked it. I am crazy over chickens and roosters as well. The scrapbook for recipes is a project that I plan to start myself as well. When I saw them, I thought it was a GREAT idea.

Bonnie you are definately " schooling " me on this swapin' thang! I was shocked to receive the most beautiful apron(I have it on now) and pot holder along with an inscribed Ball Complete book of home preserving. I just wonder where you ladies find the time to do all these lovelies. Does anyone sleep? Thank you so much. I feel so out done! You are to generous! Am I gushing?

Oh, and yes Merle, British Columbia is far away....
It would be compared to USA.....
NY to California...opposite as in east and west, but you can still come and visit. I love company, and plan on having a canning party in the fall (all of the canning can be done outside)

Mary Jane,
I am glad you like it! My son is in BC right now and loves it. He said the people are wonderful. He's talking about moving there when he is done with school.

Melanie, Thanks for letting me know. I just got your package in the mail this morning. Not sure how long it will take to get to Canada, but I'm guessing you should have it by the end of next week. At least I hope so. :-)

Now, I'm not real partial to tomato catsup, but BLUEBERRY?!?!?! It actually sounds really good - you DO have to tell us what you think when you make it!

XOXO, Libbie

I would love to take part again, even though I never received mine from the last swap! I sent the MJF cookbook to my partner (that lucky gal) but never got one back - maybe I will get lucky this time! Believe me, I know how busy a person can get! I have several I would like to swap also. Shall we do just a general topic so we can all choose which one to send?

Talitha - Buttercup - that is so sweet! Yes, it was our cookbook swap, and I am sure that the farmgirl just got busy, as she does not or has not posted here for a long time. Do not worry about feeling responsible; I am okay with it. But I look forward to doing the next round. I love cookbooks!
