Cheryl,
It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD to hear from you. And I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry you're going through so much!! I figured something was going on because it's not like you to just disappear. Life sends us so many challenges and we have to deal with them. And that takes time, energy and lots of effort.
I'm glad you are on the mend! And, I appreciate your post and your communication . . that's what makes the difference.
These Farmgirls are the MOST caring and understanding sweeties on earth . . .
I agree with Debbie . . . if you don't have what it takes to do postcards, that's okay . . . you need to take care of you and your family.
Thanks for letting us know.
I will be praying for your continued healing, renewed strength and energy and for your family.
Take care and God Bless!
CJ

So sorry to hear of your illness. Hope that you are on the mend and feeling better very soon. The postcards can wait.

.I got home form a short trip yesterday and had postcards from hathy in California, and krystle in Wisconsin. I go back to work tomorrow-YAY because I LOVE my job-and it will fun to come home every afternoon and see the rest of the postcards come in.
To Cheryl-please take care of yourself and let us all come second. I would rather not get a postcard from you and know you are healing yourself. On another note for Cheryl-I did a postcard project with a group of students a few years ago and I think we got postcards from all 50 states and maybe some other countries. If I can put my hads on those, I would be happy to share those with you for your homescholing. My daughter homeschools, so I am going to point this post out to her-she is SobyN- and see if she wants to pen pal with you.
Again, Cheryl, please put yourself and your health first at this time.....Farmgirl hugs!!!!!

Margo, I've got a camping trip planned for this week to meet up with my family up at the Bridge!!! That is one of my favorite places to camp and I went to school in Esky. I wish my husband loved the UP as much as I did, we would probably be living there because I love the Great Lakes so much! If/When we do move to MT I will miss the Great Lakes dearly!!!

Ok, I finally sent all of mine out today. Some made it in the mailbox this morning and were picked up today. The rest are at the post office to be sent out tomorrow. Sorry for my last minute mailings.
I have enjoyed participating in this postcard swap. It has been such a delight to receive your postcards in the mail throughout the summer! Thank you all for a lovely experience!

Susan, I too sent out more than I have received back but if you look at your address list. Four of the people we sent individually to are members of two house holds and may have sent jointly even if they received individually. That helps to make up in the discrepancy of the numbers.

Just to clarify numbers on the list . . .

EACH one of us should have SENT out a total of 48 postcards.

EACH one of us should have RECEIVED a total of 48 postcards.

Holly is correct in that there are four people in two households.

However, one of those households is TWO separate swappers, only the COX household is a joint household, sending only one postcard.

Hope that helps!
Thanks for the fun!

I have received 37 cards if I do not count the one from myself. I was wondering if the three women from Long Island have met. I guess the island itself is long but to me it seems like it must be small enough for people to know each other. there are probably more people on Long Island than in the whole state of Vermont now that I think about it.

I am enjoying all of the post cards. I like to look at them and read the messages every now and then.

I have received 37 to date plus the one I sent to myself. So I guess I'm up with everyone else. I still love this swap. The ones I have received are all so interesting. And I love all the messages. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to display them.

I cannot master those things that I have not tried.
