Kathy, I know how you feel about not getting a response to your Mailart. That happened to me one month and I was just sure that my recipient hadn't liked it. Well, I did end up hearing from her with a nice comment and email. There had been a crisis situation and she just didn't have time to acknowledge receiving it. Then, I felt bad that she had a lot of things to deal with and still managed to respond when she got a chance. Maybe something like that happened in your case. Also, I highly recommend doing the angel art. I feel so good knowing thay it may bring joy to someone and no response is needed. MaggieMB

thanks Maggie-I had those thoughts as well, but this has happened to me several times now within the year I have been doing mailart. I had thought of the angel art too, as like you said I would never expect a response for those but would really enjoy making those. I think I will decide what I want to do for the July art-thanks again everyone for supporting comments

Dear Carla,

Thank you soooo very much for the Mail Art! I am sorry that I did not post sooner, it slipped my mind and I have been busy lately because of a knee injury, surgery, etc. But the notebook is absolutely lovely and all my sisters were "ooh-in and ahh-in" over it! Thanks again!

Dear Lorrae Moon,

Did you receive my envelope? I sent it a few weeks ago and I just wanted to make sure that you got it.

Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

Well here is the LOOOOOOOOOOVELY May Mail art I rec'd from Sherry in Longview!

First in came wrapped in pretty pink paper and bows! And the card contained a sweet note.

She sent a pretty plaque...May You! poem

Hand finished journal.....front has my initial!

Front and back inside covers also embellished.

And last but not least some extra goodies for personlizing.

My best to all,
Mel

I decided on Cinco de Mayo for my May theme.....so here is what I sent to Catherine in Temple.

First researched the history....learned things most people probably don't know about the
Battle of Pueblo which inspired the May 5th celebration.

The front of the card.

The inside of the card.

Front of envelope.

Back of envelope.
