My loving hubby booked a cabin for us. I am unable to walk anyway, so we plan to grill out or cook over a campfire (if the rain they predict doesn't arrive). I'm pretty excited. Can't wait to relax on the cabin porch.
we are disconnecting but not going anywhere. and by that I mean we are staying home and not going anywhere on purpose. Sometimes holidays are just way to much noise and hub bub for me..
We stayed home too! I stuffed 3 cornish hens, 1 for me, hubby and of course the dog! LOL! Still have hers and 1/2 mine left. Put them in the crock pot, put sweet potatoes in crock pot and then went to church. Put hens in oven to brown along with baked corn and asparagras. Made mashed potatoes and salad. When everything came out of the oven in went a coconut custard pie. Ate and relaxed in Peace! Son is in Louisiana for a wedding and daughter is with inlaws and I wanted to STAY home! Can't stand all the comotion anymore...Man am I getting old!
