There's MANY MORE Ways to enjoy the "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" 2011 Project for knitters and crocheters than only making Blankies and hats.
Babies do get messy when they eat and do need bibs too and bibs are extra fun to make too and booties too!

BIBS are soooooooo easy to make whether you are crocheting or knitting them.
Here's for our Farmgirl knitters who love stockinette and are thinking about how much fun it would be and easy too of course to knit some bibs for this lovely "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" project that Debbie Macomber is sponsporing through the end of May.

Just got news that Debbie Macomber was ill and had to cancel part of her book signing schedule. So here's hoping Debbie's feeling much better and hope our Farmgirls can share their caring hearts by stitching along for Debbie's "Knit 1 Bless 2" 2011 Project that ends up by May 31st.

Hats are just SOOOOOOOOOOO easy to make that it's like apple pie and hot dogs and salad and chips....... they are just perfect for babies and really don't take up much of our time or our yarn....

I have the same question too that Joanna has....... just wondering how all our creative and caring Farmgirls are doing and who's knitting and crocheting for Debbie Macomber's "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" 2011 project for babies and children.
It's only through the end of May...... the deadline comes up quickly..... so it's a good time now to grab a little yarn and needles or hoooks to start stitching away with Farmgirl Love....

Yes, there are a good 4 weeks to get crocheting and knitting and make just a FEW or A FEW+MORE ......... it all counts for helping Debbie Macomber reach her "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" 2011 goal of 2500 items received!
It's a great way for Farmgirls to do something really special to help babies and children that are receiving these gifts from Project Linus, Binky Patrol and Newborns in Need....... you can't ever have too much love in our Farmgirl world!
It's a little like growing flowers in your garden....... you can't have too many lovely flowers smiling at you!!

There's just soooooooooo many wonderful ways....... and yes, I do mean wonderful..... to knit and crochet for this "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" Project for 2011 which only lasts through the end of May. They are wonderful because you get a really warm feeling knitting and crocheting for these 3 special charities that Debbie Macomber has selected.
Hats...... bibs...... booties...... and definitely BLANKETS!!!

Was it easy getting a box filled for "KNIT 1 BLESS 2" 2011, sponspored by that wonderful author and avid knitter, Debbie Macomber?
YES, INDEED! In a medium-sized USPS flat rate box I was able to get 3 blankets and 12 hats going out in today's mail.
AND it was ever sooooooo-much fun and sure a wonderful break from all of my other activities. Now I'm ready to getting going on a second box!

Farmgirls who are short on time can enjoy making BABY WASHCLOTHS and BABY BIBS which do work up very quickly and are also very easy to make!
Babies really do need washcloths and bibs. These are perfectly wonderful items Farmgirls can enjoy making for Debbie Macomber's "KNIT 1 Bless 2" 2011 Project which only runs through the end of May.
