oh Diane, I am in awe of your talents...
This is why I never seem to get anything done...

maybe if I didn't leave my projects laying around?... lol!
I have to get 5 rag rugs made for Christmas, at this rate...it might take me a little longer!

I am working on a lovely wrap for the winter for myself. It is in a (what else lol) lovely shade of bright pink :) It is made of 7 wide strips and all of them have different stitches so kinda tedious to do. But love to work on it. Will make a picture when I am finished (might be a while lol)

Oh Diane, those hats are adorable! I love my straw hat you made me! Would you share the pattern for the crochet hat? Kayla wants me to make her one and I just can't find a suitable pattern I like. The style of the ones you made are perfect for her face!

Marjean,
That one is easy...it is a free pattern from Lion Brand Yarn, here is the link. http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/90263AD.html?noImages=
I just used cotton and a bigger hook for an adult. The flower pattern is one I made up so I can't help you there. Go to the Lion Brand site and search for flowers and you will find lots of them.

I just finished this Viking helmet hat for my DH! He isn't a MN Viking's fan, but he is Dutch! Now all I have to do is finish the crocheted beard and mustache! He usually doesn't look that crazy, but he was making faces at me when I snapped the photo.

LOL Diane, cute hat hahaha (didn't know your husband is Dutch :D)
I stopped with the big wrap...no more yarn duh! But the purple vest is coming along nicely though. Not finished yet but getting there. And I also made a lovely purple hat, will make pics soon :)
Now am in the process of knitting a warm cowl/shawl for the winter. They say we will get a very very cold winter bbbrrrr

Marian,
He is all about his Viking Geneology! I would love to see some of your projects. Did you ever get any raffia for your sunhat?

I'm taking a break from knitting socks and working on crocheting an afghan for the house. I'm going to be starting my Christmas knitting and plan to do a helmet liner for my son in the Army and my df would like another pair of wool socks. I need to get the helmet liner yarn so I can get that started. I'd like to knit a pair of socks for him too if I can get a pair done. I picked up my df's sock yarn Tuesday, it's a nice dark denim blue color - should look nice with his jeans.

I'm looking for a pattern for a crocheted scrubby - it's cotton yarn on one side and netting on the other side. One of my exchange sisters sent it to me and I can't remember who to request the pattern.
