I have a bunch that don't have a company name on them they just have the organic certified logo on them. I thought that was just super cute on it's own so I just glued a magnet inside.
Kristina you gave me a totally new idea!!!!!!! I don't drink tea though!
Can those of you who have way too many (I don't really have any lids like that at all as we don't drink or use anything like that.......sorry, our milk glass lids are like that, but I have to return them to my dairy each time to get my full 4 dollar deposit back on my the glass jar the milk comes in.
But, oh I would be so happy if some one could send me some! I want to make garden stakes with them. I was going to do the hammer nail thing on lids, but you know what I think I would put pics of the fruits/veggies in there, and then use some kind of clear paint/glaze put them on stakes and put them in my garden!
Lesley, save some of those bottles too. I keep several handy out in my flower garden tucked away out of sight. When I want to pick some flowers from the garden I have handy vases ready to go. Tie a pretty ribbon around the bottle and you have a very pretty vase to set on your table or on your front step to welcome visitors. Decorate the bottle cap and punch a hole in it and then run the ribbon through the bottle cap hole for extra embellishment on your recycled vase. I have painted bottle caps the colors of my flowers then glued the name of the flowers I cut on the inside of the cap using a fancy font from my computer. The only problem is that I keep giving them away to friends who just can't live without them. LOL. Guess I need to make some more this summer. Happy Crafting!!
