Here is a picture of some of my hollyhocks.
The Beetles have played havoc on them, but they are still pretty.

Not how long, but how well you have lived is the main thing.

Beautiful hollyhocks, Elizabeth! Thanks for sharing!

I have some old hollyhock seeds that a neighbor gave me - about two years ago. Do you think they would take if I plant them?

They are so pretty..and I just love Hollyhocks!! They grow well here, but this year mine arn't doing as well as usual. (they reseed themselves and usually just do well with no help)
Yours are lovely. Most all of mine are a darker pink and the same. Someday I want to have a mix of colors..really cottagy looking..I would love that!!
THanks for posting the picture!

Beautiful! MIne turned out to be gorgeous this year as well...I have white, burgandy, and pink. Huge, 6 inch blossoms!!! My mother tells me how when she was growing up they always planted Hollyhocks around the outhouse to hide it and make it smell good. Guess now I need an outhouse!

Oh, they're lovely! Thanks for sharing! We just planted a new boulevard garden this weekend and now I'm in love with all things that grow tall or climb. I want hollyhocks now!

Elizabeth, your hollyhocks look really nice! The beetles ate mine too, but they still look alright, mine are about a week behind yours.
