I need some farmgirl cheer! I got the flu last Monday and was starting to feel good but today went down hill again. :( My whole family has been sick with the flu for 2 weeks now! I am sick of being sick!

thats nasty luck that you were on the upswing!!!! nasty flu to go thru the whole family!

Feel better - many times I think I'm feeling better but then I do too much too soon - rest and take care of yourself.

I've heard that if you put a raw onion on your bedside table, it will "absorb" the flu virus. Don't know if it works, but I've put onion on sores before and it helped. Hope you feel better soon!

A flu came through here during Feb. Mar. and everyone said they felt better then got worse again before it went away. Seriously, even the little kids would seem better and the next day, sick again. The second round was really short. Hope that holds true for you.

| Hope you feel better soon. I just returned from a "Grannie tour" visiting grandkids around the nation. People were hacking/coughing/sneezing on every flight I was on. Now I'm sick, too. |

I am hoping that as you read this you are already back on the upswing and are feeling better. Foohey to the Flue! Its Spring time- we have no time for that...lol

Aww, dumb ol flu!! My kiddos and DH got it too, and the relapses was worse than the onset, but lasted fewer days. As silly as this sounds, when my family is suck I make Brownies or chocolate chip cookies. They always want them.(I also make stew, and add about 1/2 Tbs crushed red peppers and call it sinuous infection stew, clears the stuffy noses right up; for a while. Then the get cookies)

be sure to rest and knowyou're getting batter. Dad & I got that one in mid Jan. & it seemed like we'd never get over it. Never had so many cough drops in my life. Still have a very slight cough here & there.

Hannah, please rest. I know that is so hard for women and especially Moms but it is so important. Your body can't heal if you don't rest.

Hi Hannah! Sorry you feel so yucky. Have you heard of Oscillococcinum? You can get it at Wal-Mart, at Walgreens, or at your local health food store. Whole Foods carries it, too. It is a Homeopathic medicine that will definitely help ease the flu and help you recover faster. Also, when we are sick, we boil some water on the stove and put a few drops of Lavender oil and Eucalyptus oil in the pot while it is boiling. It helps us. Good luck and quick recovery to you and yours.

Wow, Hannah. I am hoping that you are better now!! The flu is just the pits, but to have a relapse is a monster hole!! Hopefully, you are on the mend and looking back with a sigh of relief. Get well soon!!
