We have a a few nice days here -usually it is raining - and it felt so wonderful to be outside in a t-shirt. We planted five fruit trees a couple weeks ago, two pears, two cherries, and one peach. I used the compost method in the latest MJ magazine and made a flower bed between the three fruit trees we planted along the driveway. I didn't want to dig up the grass because it has been there forever. So I tried the layering method. I haven't planted anything yet but will in a couple weeks. I can't wait to see how my garden will grow. I noticed this morning when I went out with my dogs there is a lot of birds around the area that I was working yesterday even though I didn't dig much other than a border around the flower bed. There are having a bonanza breakfast. Back outside again today to putter.

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

Yes we had 2 nice days but it is raining again and again. Boo hoo. The tulips in the Valley are just cracking color---way late. So I am happy for you that you got so much done. YAY!!

Where in B.C. are you? My sis lives in Kelowna and I am about 90miles from the Blaine crossing. MB

I've been in Utah for work since Feb. Already watched a lot of trees flower. They've come and gone. At home, while talkign with hubby, he said the appricots are clooming and the cherries are just begging to start. As the temps are supposed to get into the 60s this week though the nights are still int eh 30s we may get that burst. He hopes they wait a little longer, better protection for the tree. I hope they wait until I get home!

I love spring, but I admit, I like fall the best.

Spring has been very much delayed here as well!
Rainy, cold.. every couple of days we get a hint of the season, but then it's just gone..!!
