Hello Everyone,
As many of you know, I have a wonderful place here in NH with 50 acres. A great big field that is perfect for farming and for horses, goats, chickens and more! We made the decision to put it up for sale so we can move to be closer to family. We are so far away from everyone and with parents aging and needing more support, well you all understand.
So here is a link to our home for all of you to enjoy, if you know of anyone who may be interested, please let us know. We really want someone who will want this piece of paradise for their own farm and self sufficient lifestyle. It has so much to offer and could be someone's dream-come-true place!
http://listings.realbird.com/B4B9B7B4/106463.aspx
We will be purchasing another farm ourselves, after all, I am a Farmgirl!!

Thank you so much! We are hopeful someone will come along soon.
My BF's parents need our help a little more now and I would love to be closer to my son. . . I don't get to see him as often as I would like.

Wow Joanna- That looks like it could be my dream home- if only I could get my husband to leave Long Island!
I cant believe the amount of land etc that you can get for the money there! We have a 3 BR/1Bath home here on about 3/4 of an acre and our house would probably sell for about the same- maybe a little more.
Incredible!
Good Luck- I am sure you will find the right buyer soon!
Smiles,

Thank you Laurie! We hope to find the right person soon. The snow is melting fast and it soon will be time for planting crops. . .so hoping someone comes along before the growing season is under way.

Thank you!! We have done so much work to the place. Getting the trails cut in, getting the field in good shape, getting the house in order. . . I am sure someone will come along for it soon.

Marybeth asked where we will be moving, just a little ways south of here to the middle of NH. This way we will be located in the center of all our customers we serve and be much closer to family. Although, the truth be told, my heart will break when we leave here. . . no doubt about that. . . so, I am enjoying all that I can before moving day arrives!

We are cautiously optimistic. . . we did a showing to a "farm girl" and her family yesterday. . . they spent 2 hours here and hiked most of the property with us. . . they asked to come back for a second look and told us they are seriously considering it.. . I will keep all of you posted!

Thank you Laurie! We are now waiting to hear, we walked the property with them and they loved everything. They did tell us they are seriously considering it. . . as we all know, it is a big decision when it comes to purchasing a home. They are a delightful family and could put this place to full use as a farm, which would thrill me to no end!! I'll keep you posted on how things progress.

Thank you! I know how you must feel. The trees finally have leaves on them and today we had the windows open to enjoy the fresh air.

Hi Joanna-
Just thought I would check in to see how the prospective "buyers" are working out? Hopefully it all works out for you now- if not then it will when the time is right I am sure :).
Please keep us posted!

Hi Laurie,
Thank you for checking in with me! Unfortunately the family decided against making the purchase. It's okay, what is meant to be will be.
To be honest, it will be one of the hardest things for me to move from here. . . I simply love it here and nothing else truly compares in my eyes. If God wishes for us to move from here, a sale will happen, until then we get to continue to enjoy our beautiful home and all that it has to offer!

Hi Joanna!
I was just wondering how you are doing with the sale of your house?
Hope all is working out for you.

Hi Denise!
Well, no one has scheduled a look yet. . however, over the weekend we had a lot of "drive by's" even a few, drive up the long driveway to take a peek. . . very encouraging and we are hopeful the right person will show up soon and make the purchase. Would love to be closer to my Son and Bob's family as well as have my store!! I will keep you posted.

It will happen , like you said, with the right person. The "fit" will happen and then you will be able to get your price as well cause they will love it as much as you do!

Hi Everyone!
It has been quite some time since I last did an update. We have had many folks drive by, some even come up to the house on occasion, however no buyers yet. Last night a very promising couple drove in, looked all around and very slowly drove away. . pointing at our views, the fields, the house, the trails. . . we are every hopeful they may stop in and visit our realtor and request a viewing!

I will keep you posted on any new developments. If anyone knows of someone looking for a wonderful farm location here in northern NH, please send them our way! We have done lots of work to prep our location for the next family that moves in. With old variety apple trees, tons of blueberries, black berries, raspberries and too many herbs to list. . . plenty of trees ready for harvesting to heat the house or sell as firewood and the field either ready for tilling and planting or use for haying. . not to mention the two natural springs on the property, one feeds out well continuously the other in the lower field could be made into a small pond. . . well, as you can see, we have lots to offer to the next family!!

HI Joanna -

Hope you find a buyer. You are in a beautiful area. I was just up your way last week. We were in Maine for a couple of days, then drove to North Conway and over the Kancamagus Highway down into Lincoln. Then we spent a couple of days around Lake Winnepesaukee.

Keep us posted!

Hi Luanne,
Thanks for the good wishes. . . glad you were able to visit NH too!! The Good Lord willing, we will have a buyer soon. I have found a new location for us . . two actually. . and would love to get the ball rolling soon! I would have my own shop for the first time and that excites me. .. not to mention I would only be about an hour and a half from my Son! ( We are so far from one another it is very rare I get to see him. . a 5 hour drive one way is a lot for him, considering he only has one day a week off right now)

I will keep you posted on any new developments!
