I just finished a week of jury duty and my brain is so tired. It was a really sad trial and it was painful to listen to a lot of the testimony. I just have to say that a bright spot in my day would be to come home and log onto the Farmgirl Connection. After a day of listening to people arguing it was so nice to come home and "talk" to all you wonderful farmgirls!

Have yet to be called for jury duty, but have always wondered what it is like. So are you done with the duty now or do you have to go back? Being here on the boards is a sweet change for me too....hope you recover soon from the stress of it. And thank you for sitting on the jury...it is a service that needs to be done by someone. Hugs, Erica

I was called for Jury Duty about a year and a half ago. All of us "potential jurors" sitting in a room- they take our tickets and put them in what looks like a big BINGO ball cage. They roll the cage and pick a number- Guess Who's??? MINE! Lucky me...I was picked for the jury, but we never actually had to hear testimony since they settled out of court on the morning of the 1st day of trial.WHEW! Now I am "safe" from being called for I believe the next 5-6 years.
