This is my favorite month by far because I love to write handwritten letters. :) I got so inspired by reading MaryJane's artical in her magazine for this month ( if you haven't read it yet, you MUST! It is so good!) and thought how much fun it would be to sit down and take time to write a handwritten letter to a farmgirl who I don't know very well. I treasure all handwritten letters because I know that that person took time to sit down and write it with care.
So my thought was, if we can get some farmgirl's who are interested in writing a handwritten letter to someone they don't know to e-mail me or post here and then I can give you a list, you choose the person you want to write a letter too and then e-mail eachother and swap addresses.
Is anyone interested?

Hi Carole, I got your e-mail! Which do you think would be easier. Have everyone e-mail me there address and me partner everyone up or just make a list with the farmgirls names and user names and then have people pick who they would like to write? Should it be a secret swap meaning they don't know who they are writing too?

Hannah,
Would everyone emailing you their addresses be too much work for you? I wouldn't want someone to be left out but either idea is good. A secret swap would be interesting but I think I would like to know who I am writing to. I realize that I am being wishy washy with no definite answers. Why not see what other people think?

I also read the article and it really hit home with me, I cannot honestly remember the last time I sat down and wrote a letter.
I think this is a wonderful idea Hannah. I'm in!
I do agree with Carole, I really wouldn't want anyone who signed up not to receive a letter.

I have been part of the MJF pen-pal for over a year now. I love getting my notes from Rae.
She is just the nicest person ... I would love to meet :) I had another pen-pal but she is not
writing at the moment. Great way to keep the art of letter writing alive.

Hannah asked that I write and tell you that she is pretty sick with the flu. She will get our names to us, when she is not under the weather. Might say a prayer for her right now. Thanks!
