I am interested in a charm square fabric swap.I am willing to organize it.
  • 12" squares of quilting quality fabric (not too thin)
  • Please include a note to show prewashed or not
  • How about 3 fabrics, and each person send 1 square of each fabric for each person?- So if 5 people sign up, each would send out 15 squares, 5 of each of the three fabrics.
  • Please include sase in the same amount as the original package/envelope.
  • Deadline for signup is July 15th, fabrics to be sent in by the 30th, and you will receive the packages back by the 15 of August

To sign up, please post below. :-)

you will have to send us your address as we need your address more than you need our as you will get sase and just place the fabris in them but we have no idea where to send the fabric to begin with just click on the screen name of each person that joins and you will find in the next window that asks if you want to email then click on that and you can send your address to us securely (sp?)

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

Okay girls, I'm in. Sounds like fun, and that they would come from a lot of different places! Fabric is my thing, so let's see what we get! I'm looking forward to it!

No theme or color, just something pretty :-)

I am getting pretty excited too! I have already started planning a scrappy style quilt for all these squares. I am going to use them as half triangle blocks with a sashing and border out of my stash. (shh... dont tell anyone, but I plan to use a wrong size sheet for the border fabric.) Don't worry, I'm not sending you any sheet fabric!! I have one Moda fabric picked out from the swap already and am going to a quilt store for the other 2. :-)

* 12" squares of quilting quality fabric (not too thin)
* Please include a note to show prewashed or not
* 3 fabrics, and each person send 1 square of each fabric for each person?- So if 5 people sign up, each person would send out 15 squares, 5 of each of the three fabrics.
* Please include sase in the same amount as the original package/envelope.

Would you have room for one more "square" participant? I've been reading the chat for a year now and this sounds like too much fun. Warning from me you likely to get greens, it's my color.

Welcome to the forum Mary! You are going to love the fabrics I have chosen for the charm square swap - they all have green!! Hmm. I must have been feeling the vibes all the way from Washington.
If you get the chance, pop over to the welcome wagon and introduce yourself there. We're glad you're here.

Welcome Mary!! Green is my favorite color too. You know what I did...? I purposely didn't get green this time. It is so hard for me to buy other colors but I made myself. But I do love the ones I picked. I will be thrilled to get greens!!! It will be fun to have another new gal included!!

Picked out my 3 fabrics this morning. Went to three shops, had a blast. Hope you like my choices. Only one has a lot of green. They are all 100% cotton and I'm prewashing them. Can't wait to see your choices. Mary

I knit, I bind books, I do cards, I cross-stitch, I sew (sort of)...and I'm *this close* to quilting. Since reading through this thread (finally!), I think I'm officially getting the bug. There's a quilt shop just down the street from where I live, I walk by there with my son all the time. 'Bout time I went in, huh?

Please count me in!
