Thanks for the inspiration. I have several books with some great patterns, but I have never gotten around to trying it. Maybe now I will. They sure are cute.

trish, I like your user name too. I have 12 acres but only 8 dogs.... HMMM I think my husband would kill me if I got any more. I do have a goat and 2 bunnies too...hehehehehehhe

Oh and Beverly and Trish, count me as another dog/open space lover. 3/28 That's dogs to acres, not the other way around! So fun to watch the big dogs just run when we go for "walks."

One Dog - I made that octopus for a Christmas present for my nine year old daughter. She loves it. I also made two of the purple square monsters that Michaels always has the free directions for. I love making these because they work up so cute and fast. I have half made afghans everywhere because I can't stay ineterested. Amigurimi is for me. I would love to hear someone else pronounce it though - I think I am butchering it.
