Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I have all her books. Love just sitting and looking through them to get ideas!
With a cup of tea of course. :)

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

I now have all of Mary Jane's books and I absolutely love all of them. Something new always pops out every time I look through the books and they encourage me to try something new.

I agree! They are wonderful. I'm missing mine right now. They have been packed for a couple of weeks in anticipation of my move. Can't wait to get them back!

I love this book. I made the hexagon scarf. It is very pretty. When I need a little country in my life I just pick up one of her books and re-read them.

Happy it is, indeed, for me that my heart is capable of feeling the same simple and innocent pleasure as the peasant whose table is covered with food of his own rearing, and who not only enjoys his meal, but remembers with delight the happy days and sunny mornings when he planted it, the soft evenings when he watered it, and the pleasure he experienced in watching it’s daily growth.

I just received a wonderful surprise! My SIL/girlfriend just gave me her copy of the stitching book! Yipee! I love it, and will be planning some projects that I found in there. She belonged to a book club and ordered it through that. Now, I have to MJF books.

I LOVE MaryJane's Stitching Book:)! A few years back, I used her hexagonal motif for the lacy scarf pattern and crocheted a large shawl for a petite friend of mine on the occasion of her son's wedding. It was a hit. Here's a picture:
