I want to embroidery a few towels to hang in my kitchen - strictly decorative. I've got some white linen (in lieu of flour sack fabric...where can you buy that? I don't have any vintage.) I've done embroidery in the past, but always with the stamped designs. I'm handy enough to transfer my own, but don't know where to start. I'm looking for something homey, but not necessarily vintage. I wouldn't mind having something like bees for a spring/summer. Generally a nature theme, I suppose, and eventually, enough for each season or maybe even every month. (Depending on how good I am and how much time it takes...) Any ideas of where to find patterns online?

Holly You can buy flour sack towels from www.Herreschners.com there are a few other places as well. Coloring books are great for designs.

You can also get flour sack towels from Lehman's online. Love their magazine and on-line store - they have everything for living the country way of life.
