Alee: I am more than ready to spring clean now. We just got back from Austin, TX visiting our son and dil. It was so fresh and great smelling that I wanted to come home and open the doors and windows and clean house. However, it snowed again and was below zero. We need to WAIT in Minnesota until April and May before we can do that. But if you have fresh air and warmer weather at your house, let the job begin. I love to wash the curtains, air the quilts, get rid of the dust and grime. I buy fresh daisies to put on the table along with a clean tablecloth in spring colors. Ah spring! God luck to y'all.

April of last year, we bought this house. May we moved in. This year, I am already starting spring cleaning. I believe I am the butt of my entire in-laws family jokes."brand new, what's to clean...?" I'm with you Alee, when you wash or air out curtains, the whole room smells fresher!! I shampooed my carpets last week. When you have a large family, there are 6 of us, and you move somewhere, you put things where you THINK they'll work. We have been here a year, and now I need to rethink storage of towels, sheets, toys.... and clean out my ATROCIOUS JUNK DRAWERS!!! its a big house, yet I'm the only one who thinks it need a spring cleaning, so I do it alone. Good thing my OCD motivates me, and makes me enjoy it. LOL
The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.
