I'm sorry you won't be able to join us. But there are some farmgirls there in Phoenix area . . I know Chandler is way out to the SE. My daughter is in the sisterhood and she lives in Glendale. Next time I'm down, perhaps we can do another Arizona Farmgirl get-together.
Megan . . . and everyone else.
There WILL be pictures!!! And you'll want to check the blogspot for most of what's happening.

YAY! "katmom" . . . we're ALL gonna be stylin'!! I will probably wear my shirt while doing our Farmers Market booth the last Saturday before I leave . . . and then of course when I get back!
I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to get done in the next 2 weeks!! (Yup, since Robin and I are leaving on the 23rd time is getting shorter and shorter!!)

Well, girls, ya' gotta have a horse on a Wild West trip!
So, "PEONY" (my little pony) and "PETUNIA (Robin's pony) will be traveling with us.

Oh CJ, Those are too cute - I'm sure you just whipped them up! Much cuter than the ones we saw in Cortez, and so very creative!
I finally am home and have a computer. Our Modem was dead when we arrived home and it took several days for the TDS guy to get here and fix it! Then I couldn't get on MJF to respond, called and talked to Brain, bless his heart, he got me up and going - Yea! Thanks Brian :)
I had written you a very long note, but could not send it and it went away to never, never land, or at least I don't know where it is!
I had the bestest time meeting up with you and getting to spend some precious time with you at the coffee shop/nursery/garden center. Our DIL wants one so bad she can't stand it! Maybe after Brian retires, it will be something she can do. Promotion was great, short and very personal. The Col had some great things to say about Brian and Brian had some great things to say about his Dad - quite emotional for me.
Our train ride was so beautiful, the Lord blessed us with a picture perfect day, even with the wind, we could not have asked for anything better. We went to Ouray, what a beautiful little town - oh my goodness. The kids bought an old console radio at an antique store, too cute! It also had a record player in the cabinet.
Robin and Nigel did come to the Denver Airport to meet up with us, that was so special too. Nigel is a preciious little guy and very special to me as is Robin. What a wonderful trip all the way around - had a great visit with family and two of my Special Farmgirl Sisters and one Little Farmboy. Priceless I'd say! Meeting Farmgirls is just a blessing that can not be described. Words cannot tell you how much that means to me. I so wish I could climb in your suitcase and go with you and Peony & Petunia on your trip! Have a wonderful time!

It all started with our the theme for our crew work on the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains event . . . it's western.
We are the "BUSTIN' FOR BOOBS POSSE"
. . .and a pair of brand new socks in my drawer that have been there a long time.

Just had a text from Rene. I asked about the weather and she said cold and raining.
Now asking other farmgirls in MT and WY "How's the weather?"

Hi girls,
Yup, getting ready.
According to Accuweather, CURRENTLY it is 50 degrees and sunny in Moscow. . . supposed to be sunny and pleasant for days, high 70s, low 80s; 51 degrees in Hayden, cloudy but becoming sunny and nice, same temps; 47 degrees in Butte, but becoming sunny and nice, same temps.
Michelle says it is still quite chilly at night in Baggs.
If you girls are used to humidity, you are coming to drier climates, bring lotion and sunscreen.
Rene lives 3 hours out of Moscow, in the other direction, so her weather could be quite different . . let's hope it remains that way.
I'm praying for good weather . . . and no wind!!
Gotta go to work now!

Hey CJ! I am soooo bummed! I won't be able to get up there! The best I will be able to do, I think, is going to Seattle in late Sep! I will try to connect with some WA farmgirls on that trip. Please post lots of pics to I can live vicariously! ;) Thanks!

Five ...count 'em five contests for the Wild West trip.
Diane and I will be leaving on Monday June27th and heading West!!!
The blog contest will officially start on Monday the 27th.
Comments will be accepted Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 8 AM.
All comments posted prior to Monday or after Wednesday 8 AM will not be counted for the contest.
