I am spending my days and into the nights tending to Annabelle and what are surely her last days here on earth. Please listen to the beautiful celtic lullaby I posted on my blog for Annabelle.

I had to wait to listen towards the end of the day because I knew I would be in a puddle at my desk. And I was right...it's a lovely song, and I'm sad for Annabelle, sad for you. She has had a wonderful long life, but it's never easy when they walk across our hearts and out of our lives. Spend every last second with her that you can.

Ninibini,

Thank you for your kind words. Annabelle slips further away with each passing day. All I can do at this point is care for her and love her. So sad, the end of life.

Jonni,

Thank you. You have a beautiful way with words. I post a brief albeit sad little update on Annabelle every day in my blog. This is such a heart-wrenching and sad time at my house. :.[

Oh Barbara! I am so sorry that this time has come in your relationship with Annabelle. You are a wonderful owner and friend. I am sure she appreciates all the love and kindness you give her.

Thank you, Alee. I've mostly been spending all my time with her, but now that she's sleeping most of the day and night, I really feel a need to get back here, even if only for short stretches of time. Everyone is so nice, and I enjoy the bit of time I spend here.
