I know I was just there a few days ago but she was counting on me going today. I was a good girl and only bought a few things. Wind is really blowing here today, but its mild out. going to be really cold again tomorrow. But I opened some windows this morning, enjoy these early mild days we we get them.
I always put my cookies on a cake plate also. We use to have some really nice thrift stores here then this gay guy moved here from Key West and started hitting all the thrift stores up to let him go through the stuff donated first and he would give them more money for it. Then he opened up an Antique store and started selling it all for more money. I was really disappointed. Then the other thrift store started letting the volunteers go through every thing first and take what they wanted for their familys. One of the volunteers had a garage sale not long ago and I stopped by and she had the nicest stuff in her garage sale . I know that all of that stuff came from the thrift. I started putting the word out about this and people started saying that they were not going to continue to donate if thats what they were doing. I miss all the great stuff I use to find there.

uh huh! That's your story .... and you are sticking to it! lol! Nancy, I am going to have to borrow that 'excuse' the next time I come home w/a trunk load of stuff & my hubby gives me that 'crossed eyed' look that only a hubby can give! lol!
