I did not know that Feb. 14-20 is RAK week. I did an act of kindness yesterday and did not even know this is Random Act of Kindness week.
Who else knew about RAK week? What have others done for people? I gave a friend of mine some soup, orange juice and money for Dr. and gas. She has been having money problems and is sick right now. She is going to Dr. tomorrow. I am blessed, so I hope to bless others.

Thanks for sharing with us about RAK week. IT's a great time to do a little something extra for someone. I was at Borders this week and the man ahead of me had just paided for his order. He walked over to me and said that I could have his gift card for my purchase. He didn't know me at all. It was just one of those Random acts of kindness that really leaves you feeling good and happy inside. THe card had about $1.23 left on it. It was the sweetness of the act that really surprised me and had me smiling. It's the little things that count!
 Today is the 17th of February and we still have plenty of time left in this week for some kindness this week Farmgirl style!

I've never heard of RAK week. What a great idea. Even if the week is almost over, its good practice, for how I want to be every chance I get. I too am blessed, and helping others is so fulfilling! my DH and I were in town shopping, and he showed me a gentlemen who sleeps in his car in the same spot in the same parking lot, always. It's so cold! He works odd jobs when he can, but the money goes to food and gas so he can run the car for heat. If he wasn't so far from our home, we would have asked if he wanted to help replace our fence, but... DH and I were supposed to go out to dinner, but instead, DH gave his cash to thus gentlemen, and we had a cheeseburger and fries at McDonald's instead. Hope to start living everyday with random acts of kindness. I think they benefit me more than the recipients. Thanks for posting.
