Hey girls !! it's really ok to not put into words your deepest feelings in your journal. It is very healing for me,but we are all different and are walking our own path. I have taken a class on art healing to really get in touch with those feelings and finding creative ways to work them into me artwork. You don't have to at all !! I might also suggest finding a picture that inspires you or touches you. For instance...I love pink so I made this silly page... Sorry this is not a good scan as I used sparkling Mod Podge as a final coating !lol !! Anyway...this page was inspired by pink...it reads in part...If I were a bird I would be pink...Just have fun !! You can do it !!
Hello Debbie !! yes you need to let it dry between coats for sure !! Anxious to see what you all are up to !!! I'm getting prompts and photos gathered. Been down again !!!

Yes Maggie.. I scraped paint on it and let it dry. Added a bit of texture. Then used the mod podge to apply the cut outs. Wrote the words and doodled here and there . Have fun with this !!
Kristy, I don't bind books, but I wanted to tell you that yours in the photo is beautiful! One of my DD's is working on an altered art journal. They look like a lot of fun for creative expression!
