Girls...I just have to share this with all of you! I found a wonderful old cotton bedcover at the flea market but it had a huge(dinner plate) size rust spot on it. Well the lady gave it to me real cheap because she 'had tried everything' and nothing worked.
So....I found this all natural recipe
Wet the rust spot(s)
Mix together equal parts of Cream Of Tarter & Salt
Pour onto wet rust spots and rub into a thick paste
Lay your item in the grass where it can get sun all day.
I couldn't believe it....but the whole stain was gone!!!!!

Just make sure that the paste is real thick on the spot.

I went into my linen drawer and took out all the linens that had spots ......the whole back yard was covered in my sheets!!!
Sweet Blessins',
Paula

Lemon juice and salt and then placing in the sun also works. It's like magic isn't it!

Diane....LOL it was SO fun...like I said I had ALL my bedclothes on the grass....the little neighbor boy asked my son 'why does your mom have all the bedsheets in the yard'....ofcourse my son answered 'she's just kind of weird that way.'LOL
Thanks for that tip also......I had run out of cream of tarter so i had to run to the store for more...but I've got tons of lemon juice on hand!! :o)
Thanks!!!

Sunshine, I thought the same thing, but could not get my creative brain working to formulate a silly response. I'm glad someone out there shares my goofy sense of humor!
