                      | Decided to make good use of all my big and small pieces of left over yarn. Picture of how that is coming along. Still lots of snow here, more added everyday, this is how I remember winters when I was little, you didn't see the grass until spring. So this project has kept me warm while working on it.

                      | Good idea Nancy. We still have lots of snow along with layers of ice here in Binghamton.

 O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

                      | That is so beautiful and it looks so warm. What a great idea to use up scrap yarn. Think I'm gonna have to try it. hugs

                      | Nancy Jo, You are very smart to make yourself a snuggle blanket for your car. I'm ready too hsver one in my car just for warming it up in the driveway. I hsd to shovel lots of ice from under my car to get to the store today...And your Aunt Glenda's quilt is so sweet. We've all been "under the weather" here, but now it is the kitchen ceiling that is ill. An ice jam has caused severe leaks so I keep waiting for it to come down. I had my son take down all the platters and pitchers off my plate shelf so if the ceiling goes I'll at least save a few treasures. I love all your books, i've read them all except for Half Broke Horses, though that is on my wish list! Winter is good for reading. Though I had cataract surgery a couple weeks ago, i can see to read with one eye. Having the other eye done soon and then I'll be able to read with two eyes. I'm sure it will be a big improvment...
Always fun to see what you have been doing, keep warm, Karin

                      | Just adorable! I have one I am doing the same thing with, though mine is a lot darker. If I can figure out how to use my camera, I will post a pic to show you. Aren't they the most relaxing to work on? :D hugs

                      | Very nice! I love having a blanket or two (or three) in the car. The boys snuggle under them, and I like to be warm and tend to roast out my dear hubby, so a blanket comes in handy. Love your blog too!
