Hello all....on a day when I could really use an uplift - there is a package for me from the post office. My SS is the best - she made me a little wall hanging that will be perfect in my new craft room! Also she sent me a tea cozy...so now all I have to do is learn how to do proper tea! LOVE IT!!!!

Hi all
I received a wonderful package from my SS today. Apparently she found out that my bday is April 1st and that I love the Texas Longhorns...so I received a beautiful Texas Longhorn handmade of course bday card, with a lovely poem written by my SS inside. Then there was the beautiful orange bracelet (Longhorn orange), and samples of Christian Dior lotions!! TOO COOL. I LOVE IT, already have my card sitting out for the world to see and I guarantee I'll be wearing that bracelet and lotion on my cruise come April 1st. Thank you SS, you are the BEST!!

I got a package from my SS yesterday! In it was a cute pair of earrings and matching necklace! Did you make these yourself SS? Thank you so much. My camera is still broken so sorry, no photos.

Hi Dear SS, I received my Sourdough Starter and my recipes yesterday and I thank you very much. But, I have a question and will need some help from farm girl sisters out there. I do not check my mail everyday, so the starter came yesterday and it sat in the mailbox all night it was well below 20 degrees last night. I live 9000 feet altitude and it still gets very cold here at night. When I picked up my mail this morning and open the envelope with the start in it the plastic bag was ice cold, not frozen but very cold. Is it still good to use, do I need to do anything with it now, let it sit in the warm kitchen or put it in the refrigerator I am just so unsure so any help I would appreciate. I will go to Farm girl kitchen too and ask there.

| My MIL has been in the hospital again and when I returned home today I had a wonderful package from my great secret sister! She knows that I love, love tea, she had come across a charm bracelet that is all things tea, hanging from the chain are tea cups, plates, spoons and tea pots; it is way too caute! Thanks sis! |

Earlier this week I received a nice note with some lovely gifts. Some garden gloves, flower seeds, the farmers almanac, recipe cards and a ceramic sign saying Love and Happiness with Family and Friends. Thanks so much!
