Once upon a time, I use to think that Las Vegas would not be of interest to me. But after going this past December with my hubby to meet up with an old dear friend from my high school days at Belmont High School in Southern California, I was truly delighted and impressed. So much to enjoy! I am not a gambler. There was SO much more to see and enjoy there than one can imagine!
I loved the Fountains and show at the Bellagio. One of my favorite places happens to be the Forum Shops at Caesar's Place. There is a restaurant there called Trevi. It's like you are at the Fountain of Trevi. Then it was like I was in Paris at this casino. THe Eiffel Tower is reconstructed and it's beautiful. Then off to Egypt we went to visit the Luxor. Away we went back to Medieval Days at Excalibur. "Treasure Island" takes us back to the days of pirates and high adventure for all ages. An oasis in the desert and delightful shopping stores at "The Mirage My favorite places of all happens to be the Venetian and the Grand Canal Shops. We have always wanted to go to Venice. We got to take a gondola ride and were serenaded by our wonderful escort who sang my favorite Italian song "Al di La." Every place has its own decor and its own magic. Take a ride on the monorail or the bus or walk like we did and you will experience so much you would not ever believe it were possible in one visit.

This visit completely changed my way of thinking of Las Vegas. There's plenty there for the gambler. But the real prizes is the adventures that await you here. There is SO very much more to see and enjoy. As a matter of fact, we are looking forward to returning this year.

We've gone twice...both times with our daughters, so the gambling part of Vegas was NOT what we were there for. I agree with Teresita...I used to think I wouldn't be interested, but there are some really cool things there...kind of like a grown-up Disneyland almost. Each place is literally a different world/fantasy. We found every free thing to do there and we were BUSY and had a wonderful time!
