| Snow on the ground,but starting to melt. It is very cold; in the 30's here in Texas.Tried to start the day a little easier big pumpkin pecan pancakes( say that 3 times real fast), farm fresh eggs(I gathered yesterday afternoon),bacon, and fresh ground coffee.My hubby is happy. I have a quilt that is tugging on me to get back to ,now that the hollidays are over.The birds are keepin' a steady stream of traffic going to the feeders this morning.It is a wonderful sight to see. Thank you dear Lord for all your blessings.Thank you for all my new sisters! |

It's suppose to start here tonight and we are supposed to have quite a storm going by the morning. I hate snow! I call it my other four letter word. I am so hoping that they are wrong and that not a single flake falls...but I should know better.

Marcy, I think you are going to get some snow. It's heading up the coast. Sorry.
Hello Sharon and welcome to the forum. Snow in Texas. Kind of like snow in S. Ga. Have fun with yours.
It snowed some more this morning here. I hope y'all are ready for this. If it's what was here get ready. We got 8". And it's cold.

Kristina, that's what all those kids are for! I had my grands all help load and unload firewood then help bring it inside. They are good at that. Keeps the little buggars busy. It's a really good workout too.
It's been snowing here on and off all day so far. I sure wish it would go away now. And it's supposed to be 17 in the morning.

| we got way more than 4 inches, the news said Parma has 18 inches on the ground, it snowed and I mean snowed all day. roads were horrible and the poor car slid all over the place. I don't think I went over 15 mph taking the kids to school Couldn't believe they had school ! The side streets had snow deeper than the bottom of my car ! I just kept going so I wouldn't get stuck, thank god I learned to drive way out in the country two lane road, ditches on both sides and drifts ! |
